RBI Assistant 2021 Selection Process:
The selection process of RBI assistant 2021 recruitment will happen in 3 phases. They are,
- Preliminary exam
- Main exam
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
The RBI assistant prelims and mains exam pattern 2021 are different from each other. The language proficiency test will take place in the Official / Local language of the State concerned. After clearing the mains exam, the candidates are called for the Language Proficiency Test. Here, the candidates failing to clear the language proficiency test are disqualified.

RBI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2021:
The first phase of this recruitment is the online preliminary exam. Candidates clearing the prelims exam can take the mains exam. The RBI assistant 2021 prelims exam pattern details are explained below in a brief manner.
- There are totally three sections in the prelims exam. They are English language, numerical ability, and reasoning ability.
- The numerical ability and reasoning ability will have 35 questions each. While the English language section contains 30 questions. So there are totally 100 questions present in the prelims exam.
- Each question carries 1 mark. So the maximum marks for the prelims exam is 100.
- The separate sectional timing for each section is 20 minutes.
- The negative marks for each wrong answer is 0.25.

RBI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2021:
The mains exam is the second phase of this recruitment. The candidates clearing the mains exam are called for the language proficiency test. The RBI assistant 2021 mains exam pattern details are explained below for your convenience.
- There are totally five sections in the mains exam. They are computer knowledge, English language, general awareness, numerical ability, and reasoning ability.
- All sections will contain 40 questions each. The total marks for the exam is 200.
- Sectional timing is applicable for the mains exam. So you cannot swap between the sections.
- The sectional timing for English language, numerical ability, and reasoning ability sections are 30 minutes each.
- For computer knowledge section 20 minutes of time duration is given. Whereas for the general awareness topic, the sectional timing is 25 minutes.
- 1/4th of the marks assigned to the question is deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.
