SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2020:Â The SSC CPO Exam Pattern consists of the following stages: Paper 1, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper 2 and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). There are four sections in paper 1 and in paper 2 the questions will be asked from English Language and comprehension. Both the paper comprises 200 questions for 200 marks which should be completed within stipulated 2 hours time. Every question is of multiple choice type.

SSC CPO Exam Pattern: Paper 2
This paper consists of English language and comprehension type questions. There will be 200 questions which should be stipulated 2 hours time. All the questions will check the English language knowledge and understanding of the candidates.

- 0.25 Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer in paper 1 and 2 exam
- Each correct answer carries one mark
- To prepare the result mark scored by the candidates will be normalised

- Shot put (16 lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chance

- 100-metre race which should be completed within 18 seconds
- 800-metre race which should be completed within 4 minutes

Medical Examination
Candidates who clear paper 2 will be sent for a medical exam and are examined by the medical officer of the CAPF or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.Â
Eyesight:
Minimum near vision
- N6 for better eye
- N9 for worse eye
Minimum distant vision
- 6/6 better eye
- 6/9 worst eye
Eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity.Â
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should have high colour vision.
Candidates who got selected for the post of Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector should pass seven hurdles as a part of their training curriculum.
