Defence Research Development Organization(DRDO), Proof & Experimental Establishment (PEX), Ministry of Defence has released the application for the Technician (Diploma & ITI) Apprentice post. A total of 62 vacancies were announced to fill the technician post. The DRDO Recruitment Apply Online link is get activated currently. DRDO PXE Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Persons should have completed Diploma/ITI in the relevant field.
Persons for Technician Diploma Apprentice must have registered their names at NATS Portal and persons for Technician ITI Apprentice must have registered their names at NAPS Portal.

DRDO PXE Apprentice 2021: Selection Process

The Selection Board of PXE will go through the applications and shortlist the candidates (as per the vacancies indicated above).
Candidates will be selected strictly on a merit basis (percentage of marks of the qualifying exam). In the case of Tie, the marks of the lower qualifying examination will be considered. In case of further Tie, priority will be given marks obtained in the order of Math, Science & English in Class 10h exam. Only selected candidates will be informed through an offer letter through e-mail.

DRDO PXE Apprentice Recruitment 2021: Terms & Conditions

1. Candidates for Technician (Diploma) Apprentice must have registered their names at Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and Candidates for Technician (ITI) Apprentice must have registered their names at National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.

2 The fresh pass-out candidates (passing their respective courses in 2018, 2019 & 2020) only ca Candidates with post-graduation are not eligible to apply.

3. Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates eligible to apply

4. Diploma/ITI degree holders who had training or job experience for a period of one year or me attaining the essential qualification shall NOT eligible for being engaged as an apprentice.

5. The period of training will be 12 months commencing from the execution of the contract of Apprenticeship

6. Reservation will be applied as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and Apprenti Rules 1992 as amended from time to time. Applications belonging to SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy shall produce their caste certificates in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority.

7. Selected candidates have to submit the “Medical Fitness Certificates” at the time of joining

8. The selected candidates must execute a contract for a period of one year of training as per provision the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and rules framed thereunder.

9. Before applying, the candidates should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and norms mentioned in the advertisement.

10. It shall not be obligatory on the part of the PXE, where training is imparted to offer any employment to any apprentice after the completion of the period of his/her apprenticeship training.

11. Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process

12. PXE reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats for apprentice training.

13. Any canvassing or personal follow up with the intension for inducting the process of selection apprentice by and on behalf of any candidates shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidates

14. PXE reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the advertisement selection process if circumstances so warrant without assigning any reason thereof.

15 The apprentices will not be provided any quarter/hostel accommodation transport by the Establishment during the training period
