China to build the world’s largest “ghost particle” detector – Trident
- China is constructing an enormous telescope named Trident in the South China Sea with the purpose of detecting neutrinos, often referred to as “ghost particles.”
About Trident :
- Trident is projected to cover an area of 7.5 cubic kilometres, making it significantly larger than existing underwater neutrino telescopes.
