Answers:

Directions (Q. 1 – 5)

  1. Answer: b

Sum of total number of boys, girls and teachers in school A = 250 + 125 + 15 = 390

Sum of total number of boys, girls and teachers in school D = 275 + 100 + 14 = 389

Required percentage = 390/389 x 100 = 100.25%

  1. Answer: d

Total number of boys, girls and teachers in school B = 175 + 200 + 20 = 395

Total number of boys, girls and teachers in school C = 225 + 75 + 25 = 325

Required ratio = 395:325 = 79:65

  1. Answer: b

Total number of boys from all the schools together = 250 + 175 + 225 + 275 + 125 + 200 = 1250

Total number of girls from all the schools together = 125 + 200 + 75 + 100 + 225 + 175 = 900

Required difference = 1250 – 900 = 350

  1. Answer: a

Total number of boys, girls and teachers of school E = 125 + 225 + 26 = 376

Total number of boys, girls and teachers of school F = 200 + 175 + 30 = 405

Required percentage = (405 – 376)/405 x 100 = 7.1% less

  1. Answer: d

Total number of teachers from all the schools together = 15 + 20 + 25 + 14 + 26 + 30 = 130

Total number of students of school A = 250 + 125 = 375

Total number of students of school C = 225 + 75 = 300

Required sum = 130 + 375 + 300 = 805

Directions (Q. 6-10)

  1. Answer e

Since the total sale of type B is 14000,

x+3080+3700+4200+920=14000

x=2100

So, the lowest sale is 920. The shop is T.

  1. Answer e

The sale of type D in shop S= 4X 280

=1120

The total type D sold by all the shops=900+680+700+1120+600=4000

Then 15% of 4000=600

  1. Answer d

Using the above question, we have

The sale of type D in shop S=1120.

Then the Total sale of shop S=2240+4200+4860+1120+1250=13670

Then the average number of items sold in shop S=13670/5

=2734

  1. Answer a

Total no of shops in Type A is 11000.

So, Total shops of Type A in shop T is,

=>11000-(1250+3500+1360+2240)

=> 2650

Total shops of Type D in shop R = 700

Less % = (1950/2650)*100

=>73.58%

  1. Answer b

The total sale of shop Q=12100

The total sale of the shop R =11820

Thus the difference=12100-11820 =280
