1). Vestige (Noun) – अवशेष

Definition: a trace or remnant of something that is disappearing or no longer exists

Synonyms:remnant,remainder,fragment,relic,echo,indication,sign,trace
Usage:

2). Allure (Noun) – लुभाना

Definition:  the quality of being powerfully and mysteriously attractive or fascinating.

Synonyms: attraction, lure, draw, pull, appeal, glamour, allurement, enticement

Usage: people for whom gold holds no allure

 

3). Frontrunner (Noun) – प्रतियोगी

Definition: the contestant that is leading in a race or other competition.

Synonyms: competitor, favourite, rival, contender, favourite, competition, challenger.

Usage: the front runner for the presidential nomination

 

4). Unprecedented (Adjective) – अभूतपूर्व

Definition: never done or known before.

Synonyms:  unparalleled, unequalled, unmatched, unrivalled, without parallel, without equal.

Usage: the government took the unprecedented step of releasing confidential correspondence

 

5). Aberration (Noun) – विपथन

Definition: a departure from what is normal, usual, or expected, typically an unwelcome one.

Synonyms: anomaly, deviation, divergence, abnormality, irregularity, variation, digression, freak

Usage: they described the outbreak of violence in the area as an aberration

 

6). Devastating (Adjective) – भयानक

Definition: causing severe shock, distress, or grief.

Definition:  made necessary by particular circumstances or regulations.

9). Flouted (Verb) – उल्लंघन करना

Definition: openly disregard (a rule, law, or convention).

Synonyms:  defy, refuse to obey, go against, rebel against, scorn, disdain, show contempt for.

Usage: the advertising code is being flouted

 

10). Chant (Noun) – मंत्र जाप करना

Definition: a repeated rhythmic phrase, typically one shouted or sung in unison by a crowd.

Synonyms:  shout, cry, slogan, rallying call, war cry, chorus, chanting

Usage: a group of young people set up a chant of ‘Why are we waiting?

 

11). Bravado (Noun) – साहस

Definition: a bold manner or a show of boldness intended to impress or intimidate.
