1). Enact (Verb) कानून बनाना

Definition: make (a bill or other proposal) law

Synonyms:  pass, approve, ratify, validate, sanction, authorize, accept

Antonyms: fail, direct, hinder, miss, prevent, repeal

Usage: legislation was enacted to attract international companies

 

2). Concurrent (Adjective) समवर्ती

Definition:  existing, happening, or done at the same time

Synonyms: simultaneous, coincident, coinciding, contemporaneous, synchronous

Antonyms: disagreeing, divergent

Usage: there are three concurrent art fairs around the city

 

3). Tussle (Noun) संघर्ष

Definition: a vigorous struggle or scuffle, typically in order to obtain or achieve something.

Synonyms: scuffle, fight, struggle, skirmish, brawl, scrimmage, scramble, scrum, fisticuffs

Antonyms: agreement, harmony, peace, accord

Usage: there was a tussle for the ball

 

4). Acrimonious (Adjective) उग्रता

Definition: (typically of speech or discussion) angry and bitter.

Synonyms:  bitter, rancorous, caustic, acerbic, scathing, sarcastic, acid, harsh

Antonyms: happy, kind, helping, mild, nice

Usage: an acrimonious dispute about wages

 

5). Proviso (Noun) परंतुक

Definition: a condition or qualification attached to an agreement or statement.

Synonyms: condition, stipulation, provision, clause, rider, qualification, restriction, reservation, caveat, limitation

Antonyms: deficiency, overkill, deficit

Usage: he let his house with the proviso that his own staff should remain to run it

 

6). Soggy (Adjective) सिक्त या गीला

Definition: very wet and soft.

Synonyms: mushy, squashy, pulpy, pappy, slushy, sloppy

Antonyms: arid, cool, dry, hard

Usage: we squelched through the soggy ground

 

7). Shoddy (Adjective) कमज़ोर

Definition:  badly made or done.

Synonyms:  poor-quality, inferior, second-rate, third-rate, low-grade, cheap, cheapjack

Antonyms: well made, careful

Usage: we’re not paying good money for shoddy goods

 

8). Affluent (Adjective) – धनी

Definition: (especially of a group or area) having a great deal of money; wealthy.

Synonyms: wealthy, rich, prosperous, opulent, well off, moneyed

Antonyms: poor, impoverished

Usage: the affluent societies of the western world

 

9). Worrisome (Adjective) – चिंताजनक

Definition: causing anxiety or concern.

Synonyms: worrying, daunting, alarming, perturbing, trying, taxing, vexatious, niggling, bothersome, troublesome

Antonyms: restful, pacific, calming, soothing

Usage: a worrisome problem

 

10). Densify (Verb) – घना करना

Definition: make (something) denser.

Synonyms: crystallize, stiffen, strengthen, amalgamate

Antonyms: dilute, dissolve, divide, liquefy

Usage: densified hardboard
