1) Err (Verb) — ग़लती होना
Definition: Be mistaken or incorrect; make a mistake.
Synonyms: Misjudge, Mistake, Blunder,
Antonyms: Innocent, Well behaved
Usage: The judge had erred in ruling that the evidence was inadmissible.
2) Mould (Verb) — गठन या विकास पर प्रभाव डालना
Definition: Influence the formation or development of.
Synonyms: Determine, Direct, Control, Guide, Lead, Influence
Usage: These choices may have signalled a readiness to be bold and break the old mould.
3) Mockery (Noun) — स्वांग
Definition: An absurd misrepresentation or imitation of something.
Synonyms: Travesty, Charade, Farce, Parody, laughing stock
Antonyms: Honesty, Openness, Truth, Flattery
Usage: Members of the Congress Legislature Party in the three States left the choice to Congress president Rahul Gandhi, making a mockery of democratic conventions.
4) Opaque (Adjective) — अपारदर्शी
Definition: Not able to be seen through; not transparent.
Synonyms: Non-transparent, Cloudy, Filmy, Blurred
Antonyms: Transparent, Translucent, Clear
Usage: Closed-door discussions and opaque deal-making preceded the final announcement of the nominees, to be elected “unanimously” in another meeting of the CLP.
5) Dynamism (Noun) — गतिकता
Definition: The quality of being characterized by vigorous activity and progress.
Synonyms: Energy, Spirit, Liveliness, Zestfulness, Vitality, Vigour
Antonyms: Lethargy, Listlessness, Sluggishness, Torpidity
Usage: The Congress leadership has opted in the end for experience over youthful dynamism.
6) Euphemism (Noun) — प्रेयोक्ति
Definition: A mild or indirect word or expression substituted for one considered to be too harsh or blunt when referring to something unpleasant or embarrassing.
Synonyms: Polite term, Substitute, Mild alternative, Indirect term, Understatement
Antonyms: Dysphemism
Usage: A good way to start would be by decentralising power and not concentrating it in the so-called high command, a feeble euphemism for the Nehru-Gandhi family.
7) Blockade (Verb) – नाकाबंदी करना
Definition: Seal off (a place) to prevent goods or people from entering or leaving.
Synonyms: Barricade, Close up, Block off, Shut off, Seal, Bar; Besiege
Antonyms: Reopen, Unblock, Unbolt
Usage: Qatar, blockaded by three GCC countries, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain.

Definition: An official ban on trade or other commercial activity with a particular country.

9) Dampen (Verb) — आर्द्र करना
