The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched a centralised web portal to help citizens search for their unclaimed deposits, known as UDGAM (Unclaimed Deposits – Gateway to access information).The portal has been developed by the central bank for the public to help them search for their unclaimed deposits across multiple banks at one place. To begin with, users would be able to access the details of their unclaimed deposits in respect of 7 banks (State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India, Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd, South Indian Bank Ltd, DBS Bank India Ltd and Citibank N.A) currently available on the portal.
