Why Did the Online Application for IBPS Clerk 2020 Re-Opened?

IBPS has taken the decision to re-open the IBPS Clerk 2020 Online Application for the applicants who attained eligibility in terms of educational qualifications by 6th November 2020 and who could not register successfully from 2nd September to 23rd September 2020 previously.

UPDATE- IBPS Clerk Application form 2020-IBPS Clerk vacancies have also increased and now there are a total of 2557 vacancies.

Steps to Apply Online for IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam?

Candidates must follow the below-mentioned steps for IBPS Clerk apply online 2020 process:

  1. Visit the official website on your browser.
  2. Look for the option appearing on the screen- “Click here to IBPS Clerk application form”
  3. Click on the link of “IBPS Clerk Application form 2020”.
  4. Fill up all the required personal details in IBPS Clerk Application form 2020 carefully- name, address, E-mail ID, education qualification, etc. Upload the photograph and signatures.
  5. According to the IBPS Clerk  application form 2020, the size and clarity requirements are stated on the website as follows:
  • Only passport size photographs of 4.5 by 3.5 cm or 200 by 230 pixels in a light background are allowed. The file should not be larger than 30 kb or smaller than 20 kb.
  • Face and eyes should be clearly visible and no headgear except religious symbols are allowed.
  • Signature should not be in capitals and should be on white paper with black ink.
  • The signature file should be less than 140 by 60 pixels and of 20 kb or less size. Make sure to maintain consistency while signing so that the signature can be used again for later steps.
  • After that, make a preference list of Banks and submit the application fee as per your category. Other points to keep in mind-
  1. Download the e-receipt for future reference.
  2. The registration number and password will be sent on their registered email ID and mobile number. Keep it very safe.
  3. Download the application form and take a print out for the examination day.
  4. Please note that when you fill-up the form, you can choose the centre of your preference from the options provided. However, if there is no seat available, then IBPS can allot you another centre and no complaints would be acknowledged regarding this issue.

The candidate must fulfill the following three criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2020:

Age Limit (As of 01.09.2020)

Educational Qualification: (As of 06.11.2020)

A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government according to the IBPS Clerk Application form 2020. Candidates should possess a certificate as proof of passing the qualifying examination.

IBPS Clerk application form 2020 states that the aspirants must possess a valid Mark-sheet /Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable as mentioned on the guidelines of IBPS Clerk application form 2020.

Computer Literacy:

Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute as per the IBPS Clerk 2020 application form.

Nationality / Citizenship

As per the IBPS Clerk online application form, A candidate must be either –

(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

IBPS Clerk Pre-Exam Training

As per the guidelines issued by the Government of India, it is mentioned in the IBPS Clerk Application form 2020 that the Nodal Banks/ Participating Organisations may/may not arrange pre-examination training for SC/ST/Religious Minority Community candidates at certain centers. Candidates belonging to the above categories can avail of the training at their own cost by indicating the same against relevant columns while applying on-line. IBPS Clerk 2020 Admit Card

After filling IBPS Clerk online application form 2020, Candidates will be able to download the IBPS Clerk 2020 admit card from the official website of the bank as and when it is released by the concerned authority. The admit card will be made available 10 to 15 days before the IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam. To login to

IBPS Clerk 2020 Result

IBPS will declare the results after completion of each phase of the examination.
