The candidates who clear the preliminary exam will be qualified for the mains exam. Then the students shortlisted from the mains exam are eligible to attend the final interview round. The IBPS PO mains exam is the second stage of recruitment in which you will be attending 4 sections namely English language, reasoning, general awareness, and data interpretation & analysis. The total marks for these four sections is 200. After that, you have to type an essay and letter writing in the descriptive test. The marks for the descriptive test is 25. So the total marks for the mains exam is 225. For each wrong answer, 1/4th of the marks is deducted.
