IBPS RRB Selection Procedure

The recruitment board will conduct a recruitment drive in the following phases. They are:

  1. Preliminary Test
  2. Mains Test

These are common phrases for both office assistant and officer scale-1. An additional phase is there for the officer scale-1 entry i.e. interview round. Detailed Syllabus for IBPS RRB PO 2020

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of IBPS RRB 2020 includes the following stages:

  1. Preliminary test: It is an online multiple-choice question examination. It consists of 80 questions for each question of 1 mark. For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks are deducted.
  2. Mains test: It is the second phase of the selection process. The total marks for the phase are 200 marks.

To successfully get selected as the officer in the regional rural banks the candidate has to pass all the above-mentioned recruitment stages. The sectional description of all the stages of the examination i.e. preliminary, mains, and interview is given below in tabular format.
