ICF Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: As of 26.10.2021.
Minimum: 15 years
Maximum: 24 years.
The upper age limit is relaxable by
- 3 years for OBC candidates,
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), candidates.
Educational Qualification: (Ex-ITI)
Fitter, Electrician & Machinist:
Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) with Science & Maths under 10+2 system or its equivalent and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
Carpenter, Painter & Welder:
Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) under 10+2 system or its equivalent and also
possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
Programming and System Admin Asst:
Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) and also possess National Trade certificate in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Asst. issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
Educational Qualification: (Freshers)
Fitter, Electrician & Machinist:
Should have passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) with Science &Maths under 10+2 system or its equivalent.
Carpenter & Painter:

ICF Apprentice Selection Process:
The selection process of ICF Apprentice Recruitment 2021 is based on
(i) Shortlisting based on the Merit list.
(ii) Physical Fitness
(iii) Medical Examination
- The merit list will be based on marks obtained in Std X, whereas for MLT (Medical Lab Technician), the merit list will be based on marks obtained in Std.XII.
- The candidate should be physically fit as per the conditions applicable under the Apprentices Act,
1961 & Apprentices rules. Selected candidates should produce a Medical Certificate at the time of document verification in the prescribed form signed by a Government-authorized doctor
ICF Apprentice Stipend Details:
Rate of stipend:
- Freshers – School pass-outs (class 10th) 6000/- (per month)
- Freshers – School pass-outs (class 12th) 7000/- (per month)
- Ex-ITI – National or State certificate holder 7000/- (per month)
During the second year of apprenticeship training, there shall be an increase of 10 percent in the prescribed minimum stipend amount and a further 15 percent increase in the prescribed minimum stipend amount during the third year of apprenticeship training.

How to apply online for ICF Apprentice Recruitment 2021?
- Candidates who wish to apply need to log on to the ICF web portal https://pb.icf.gov.in/
- Candidates should read the notification thoroughly and fill in the online application form correctly & submit it. Before filling the application form, candidates should keep ready all the data of documents/certificates required to be filled in and images of recent passport size photographs (not more than 200 KB) in jpg/jpeg format.
- System generated registration number is the candidate’s individual Registration ID & the password to generate acknowledgement is their date of birth.
- For login purposes, the candidate should use the online registration number generated, with the password as date of birth in “DDMMYYYY” format.
- A processing fee of .100/- + service charges as applicable (non-refundable) is to be paid through online mode. No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
- Before clicking the submit button, the candidate is advised to check whether the details fed in are correct.
