National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) & Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) are recruiting candidates for various posts in temporary and contractual basis. Age Limit:

Educational Qualification:

Scientist – ‘C’ (Medical Microbiology):

The essential and desirable qualification for this Scientist – ‘C’ (Medical Microbiology) post under the ICMR NIMR recruitment notification 2020 are available.

• Essential: Post Graduate Degree (MD / MS / DNB) in Microbiology after MBBS.
• Desirable: Experience in Government, autonomous, PSU etc. recognized organization.

Scientist – ‘B’ (Non Medical):

• Essential: 1st Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology from a recognized
  University with two years experience in any laboratory.
• (or) 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology with Ph.D in relevant
  subject from a recognized University.
• Desirable: Experience in Govt., autonomous, PSU etc. recognized organization.

Project Officer / Section Officer:

IT Manager / Web Manager:

• Essential: Master’s Degree or Bachelor Degree in Engineering /Computer application / Information Technology / Computer Science from a recognized Institution / University
• And 1 year experience in relevant areas of app development /portals / websites/  applications / programming or Information System
• Desirable: NET /ASP.NET / PHP / java / DotNET.

Senior Project Assistant / UDC:

We have added the essential and desirable qualification for this Senior Project Assistant / UDC post under the ICMR NIMR 2020 recruitment.

• Essential: 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board with 2 years of experience of administrative work or Graduate in any discipline with 1 year experience of administrative work.
• And a speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (KDPH) on computer.

Multi Tasking Staff:

Selection Process:

If the candidates are found eligible as per their application, they are shortlisted for the ICMR NIMR 2020 recruitment process. The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the website of NIMR and these candidates will be called for interview / personal discussion. Keeping in view of the lockdown and non availability of Transport Services due to COVID 19, the interview / personal discussion take place through Skype / video call. The candidates living in close proximity to the Institute and able to manage their own transport may also attend the interview through walk in as per date and time allotted.

If more than 30 eligible candidates available for a post, a written test will happen followed by personal discussions otherwise direct personal discussions will take place.
