  • The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today approved an increase in Minimum Support Price, MSP, for all mandated Kharif Crops for Marketing Season 2023-24.

  • According to the ratings agency ICRA report, Bond issuances by banks are likely to fall to Rs 90,000 crore in the current financial year from an all-time high of Rs 1.1 lakh crore in FY23 due to improved liquidity conditions and foreign investors inflows.

  • The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given its approval for General Atlantic Singapore ACK Pte. Ltd. (GASACK) to acquire an additional stake in Acko Technology and Services Private Limited (Acko Tech).
  • An Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Madras, Tamil Nadu (TN) -incubated space-tech startup, GalaxEye, is building the world’s first multi-sensor earth observation satellite named Drishti.
  • The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has cleared the proposed deal involving Manipal Health Enterprises Private Ltd (MHEPL) and Manipal Education and Medical Group India Private Ltd (MEMG India).
