India’s core sector growth dropped to 2.9% in February 2025, marking its weakest expansion in five months.
India’s Current Account Deficit (CAD)widened to $11.5 billion (1.1% of GDP) in Q3 FY25 (Oct-Dec 2024) due to an increase in the merchandise trade deficit, as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Japan’s Astroscale, a specialist in orbital debris removal, has partnered with Bengaluru-based Digantara and Bellatrix Aerospace.
The first production lots of the 32-bit microprocessors VIKRAM3201 & KALPANA3201, developed for space applications, were handed over to Narayanan, Secretary, DOS/Chairman, ISRO, by Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, in a function organized at New Delhi by the Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL), Chandigarh.

India and Russiawill conduct the 14th edition of their bilateral naval exercise, INDRA 2025, from March 28 to April 2, 2025, off the coast of Chennai and in the Bay of Bengal.
