• According to the latest State of the Economy report released by the Central Bank (RBI), the gap between credit and deposit growth in banks, which has been a major concern for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) over the past two years, is finally narrowing.

• Tata Electronics has finalised a Rs 91,000 crore ($11 billion) Definitive Agreement with Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC) of Taiwan, marking a significant step toward building India’s first AI-enabled semiconductor fabrication plant in Dholera, Gujarat.
• The Women in Space Leadership Programme (WiSLP) was inaugurated by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) in collaboration with the British Council, as part of the UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI).
• The Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) between the Government of the Republic of India and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan was signed by Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman and H.E.
