This time the Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission has announced a total of 91 vacancies.
Age Limit as of 1st January 2021 – 40 years

Educational Qualification – Candidates should possess graduation along with a higher diploma in Cooperation.
The selection process for the post of the assistant registrar is based on
(i) Written Exam(75 Points)
(ii) Interview(25 Points)
i. The written examination will be a 2 hour (120 minutes) Objective multiple choice question (MCQ) Exam having 120 questions.
ii. There will be negative marking for incorrect answers ( as detailed below) for all questions.
a) There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question
will be deducted as a penalty.
b) If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be the same penalty as above for that question.
c) If a question is left blank i.e no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
