The exam conducted every year there are three phases Prelims, mains, and interview process.

LIC ADO Exam Analysis Mains Exam 2019:
The LIC ADO Mains exam was held on 11 August 2019. The difficulty level of the Mains exam was easy to moderate. The questions asked are of Reasoning Ability & Numerical Ability 50 Questions, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English Language with Special Emphasis on Grammar and vocabulary 50 Questions, and 3rd section is of Insurance and Financial Marketing Awareness with special emphasis on knowledge of Life Insurance and Financial Sector 50 Questions. The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes.

- A seating arrangement was circle based.

General Awareness, Current Affairs & English Language:
The number of questions asked was approximately 25-25. The difficulty level was easy to moderate. There was one passage of reading comprehension with only 5 questions. The passage was based on the electronic vehicle. There were a good number of questions from current affairs sections, they were almost 15 questions. Approx. 2-2 questions were from banking and static affairs.
