LIC AAO and AE 2020 exam is postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and so is the LIC admit card. It is expected to release soon. LIC Prelims Exam:
The Written Exam will contain 3 sections namely: Reasoning, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. There are a total of 35 reasoning questions in the LIC prelims exam. The total duration of the written exam will be 1 hour. 0.25 marks will be deducted in case of the wrong attempt. The test will have three sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

LIC Mains Exam:
The main examination will consist of objective tests for 200 marks. There are a total of 30 LIC Reasoning Questions in the mains exam. The objective test will be online. The objective test will have separate timing for every section.

- Descriptive test of English Language etc. will be of qualifying nature and the marks in the English Language will not be counted while making the final merit list.
- The candidates are required to qualify each of the Tests to get selected.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for the main examination. ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for the selection and the final selection will be based only on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II) marks and that obtained in the Interview.

LIC Reasoning Questions – Mains analysis
The Reasoning Ability section in LIC AAO main consists of 30 questions of 3 marks each. The minimum qualifying marks in the Reasoning Ability section is 45. Generally, there are 3 sets of Puzzles & Seating Arrangement. Overall the level of the reasoning section can be said to be Easy-Moderate. Puzzle asked in the examination are based on :
