The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced the MPSC State Service Prelims Exam Date 2021 on its official website. MPSC Exam Pattern 2021
The MPSC recruitment selection is conducted in three stages. They are:
- Preliminary Examination.
- Mains Examination.
- Interview.
Candidates are required to qualify at every stage of the selection to be eligible for the next.
MPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2021
The MPSC prelims exam pattern is mentioned below
The Prelims Exam will have two subjects. i.e. General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). The question paper will be set in bilingual languages – English and Marathi and will be asked in the Objective Multiple Choice Question format.
- Aggregate marks of both papers are needed to qualify for the mains paper.Â
- For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted in both the papers.
- The decision-making questions in paper-2 will have zero negative markings.

MPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2021
The MPSC mains Exam comprises six compulsory papers in which Paper – I and Paper- II are language papers and Paper-III to Paper-VI are general studies papers.
