 NIACL Assistant Exam Pattern:
The assistant exam is conducted in two phases Prelims and Mains exam. There are three sections in the prelims exam Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The duration of the exam is one hour. The mains exam is conducted after the declaration of the prelims exam. The duration of the mains exam is two hours and five papers are asked. The sections asked in the mains exam are Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language, General Awareness, and Computer.
NIACL Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern:
NIACL Assistant Prelims consists of 3 sections these are Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and English Language. The time allotted to each section is of 20 minutes. The number of questions is 100, and the maximum marks are also 100. There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark on each wrong answer and 1 mark is given to each right answer. They are English language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and computer knowledge. Each section has 40 questions of 50 marks. There is a composite timing of 2 hours for the mains exam. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 mark. The NIACL Assistant exam pattern for mains exam are as below:

The Candidates have qualified the Prelims as well the Mains Examination for getting selected. After qualifying both the exam for assistant post the candidate has to appear for the Regional Language Test. The test is of qualifying in nature. There are no separate marks will be awarded for it.
