Eight friends A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H live on eight different floors of a building but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor of the building is numbered 1 and the topmost floor of the building is numbered 8. Each of them likes different states viz, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana, Kerala, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Manipur but not necessarily in the same order.
The one who likes Maharashtra lives on an even-numbered floor but not on the topmost floor. Only one person lives between F and the one who likes Gujarat. Only two persons live between F and the one who likes Maharashtra. Neither E nor C lives on the first floor. Only one person lives between C and the one who likes Haryana. A lives just above F. Only two persons live between E and A. The one who likes Gujarat does not live on floor number one, B lives on an even-numbered floor and just above C. The one who likes Kerala lives on an even numbered floor and lives just above the person who likes Manipur. C does not like Gujarat or Manipur. Only two persons live between the one who likes Tamil Nadu and the one who likes Rajasthan. D does not like Bihar. The one who likes Tamil Nadu does not live on an odd-numbered floor. H lives just below the one who likes Manipur.

In one apartment there are seven persons M, N, O, P, Q, R and S are living and they like different cities they are Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Jaipur and Kolkata not in the respective order. In that there are four females and three males. The Apartment is grouped into with names of alphabets such as A, B, C, D, E, F and G. Each one belongs to different kind of groups.
