Direction (1-5): Study following information carefully and answer the questions given below.

Seven persons namely- Soni, Hari, Siva, Meena, Sita, Geetha and Kavi are sitting around a circular table and all of them were facing towards the centre of the table. Each of them has different age, viz 23, 15, 21, 7, 9, 3 and 19, but not necessarily in the same order.

Soni and Siva are immediate neighbours. The one whose age is 9 years sits to the immediate right of Hari. There are three persons sitting between Hari and the one whose age is 15 years. The one who is 9 years old sits third to the right of Meena. Only one person sits between Sita and the one whose age is 23 years. The Age of Soni is not 15 years. The one who is 19 years old sits third to right of the one whose age is 7 years. Only one person sits between Hari and Kavi. Seven friends A, B, C, D, E, F and G are sitting in a straight line facing south. Each of them likes different cartoon characters viz. Tom, Bheem, Dora, Snoopy, Shinchan, Doreamon and Popeye, but not necessarily in the same order.

A likes Popeye. B sits fourth to the right of the person who likes Shinchan. The person who likes Tom sits third to the left of D. D is not an immediate neighbour of A. Only one person sits between E and the person who likes Snoopy. G and C are immediate neighbours. The one who likes Dora sits third to the left of the one who likes Doreamon. Either B or the person who likes Shinchan sits at the extreme ends of the line. Only one person sits between B and A. G does not like Shinchan.

Now we get two possible Cases.

  • Soni and Siva are immediate neighbours.
  • The Age of Soni is not 15 years.

  • Case 1 and Case 2 are derived 2 cases.

  • The one who is 19 years old sits the third to right of the one who is 7 years old.
  • From the condition case 1(a) and case 2(b) was dropped

  • The one who is 21 years old sits second to the left of the one who is 7 years old. Hence, Meena’s age is 21 years
  • From the condition case 2(a) is dropped.
  • Then Geetha’s age is 23 years.

  • The person who likes Tom sits third to the left of D.
  • D is not an immediate neighbour of A.

From the above conditions case 1 and case 3 was dropped

  • Only one person sits between E and the person who likes Snoopy.
  • G and C are immediate neighbours.
  • G does not like Shinchan.
  • Hence F likes Snoopy.

  • The one who likes Dora sits third to the left of the one who likes Doreamon.
  • Hence D likes Bheem.
