Total age of 30 students= 16*30= 480

Including teacher total weight= 31* 17= 527

Age of teacher = 527- 480

= 40

Age of teacher’s wife= 36

Salary per month= 240000/12= 20000

Money spent child’s education= 20/100*20000

= 4000

Household expenses= 16000*30/100= 4800

So, Savings per month= 11200

Savings in a year= 11200 *12

= Rs 134400.

3) Answer: c)

A= 60000*12= 720000

B= 40000*4 + 28000*8 = 384000

C= 30000*6= 180000

Ratio of investment= 60:32:15

Total profit= 4500/15*107

= Rs 32100.

4) Answer: c)

Qualified males= 1080/9*7

= 840

Total qualified= 840+ 1080= 1920

Appeared= 1920/8*100

= 2400 candidates

Males candidates appeared= 5/12*2400= 1000

Females appeared = 1400

Females failed = 1400- 1080= 320

1 child’s 1day’s work= 1/240

So,

Required days= (10/96+4/192+10/240)

Let the C.P of the car be 100

Selling Price of Amit to Rohit= 100*130/100

= 130

Selling price of Rohit to Vivek= 130*120/100

= 156

Profit % of Amit sold directly to Vivek

Total unit of work = 60units

Unit of work done by A in 1 hour= 3

Unit of work done by B in 1 hour= 2

Time required to fill 50% of the tank= 50/100*60

= 30/5= 6 hours

Time required to fill remaining tank by B alone= 30/2=15 hours

Total time taken= 6+15=21hours

Standard time required= 60/5=12 hours

Additional time taken= 9 hours.
