Answers:
1). Answer: a
Expenditure on Entertainment, health care and Food together= ((5+20+28)/100)*2
= 1.06 lakhs
Similarly, Expenditure on house rent, Education and transport together= ((10+5+12)/100)*2
= 0.54 lakhs
Required ratio= 1.06: 0.54= 53:27
2). Answer: d
Total expenditure on all items except expenditure on Entertainment and others together= 2-((5+20)/100)*2
= 2-0.5
= 1.5 lakhs
Now required average= 1.5/5= 0.3 lakhs
3). Answer: a
Total earnings of a person= 2*100/50=Rs 4 lakhs
Thus required percentage=[(12*2)/(100*4)]*100= 6%
4). Answer: b
After reducing the expenditure, saved amount= (10/100*5/100+20/100*20/100)2
= (0.005+0.04)*2
= 0.09 lakhs
New expenditure= 2- 0.09=1.91 lakhs
Required percentage= 0.09/1.91*100= 4.71%
5). Answer: a

Number of Bike in Tamilnadu=25000
Number of Bus in Tamilnadu=22000
Number of Cycles in Tamilnadu=20000
Number of Auto in Tamilnadu=18000
Then required central angle for cycles in Tamilnadu= 20/100*3600= 720
7). Answer: b
Number of cars in Tamilnadu=15000
Number of Bike in Tamilnadu=25000
Number of Bus in Tamilnadu=22000
Number of Cycles in Tamilnadu=20000
Number of Autos in Tamilnadu=18000
Required percentage=[(22000+18000)/25000]*100= 160%
8. Answer: e
Number of Bike in Tamilnadu=25000
Number of bikes have to be replaced= 20/100* 25000= 5000
Similarly, Number of cars in Tamilnadu=15000
Then, Number of cars have to be replaced= 10/100* 15000= 1500
Then Required percentage= (6500/100000)*100=6.5%
9. Answer: a
Number of Two wheelers in Tamilnadu=25000+20000= 45000
Number of four wheelers in Tamilnadu=15000+22000+18000= 55000
Required difference= 10000
10. Answer: e
Number of cars in Tamilnadu=15000
Number of Bike in Tamilnadu=25000
