Candidates should be able to fulfill the mentioned requirements to be able to apply online as per the RBI Grade B 2021 Recruitment Notification.
As per the RBI Grade B Recruitment Notification, the Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who is permanently settled in India prior to January 1, 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from either Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of residing permanently in India.

Maximum age limit- 30 years

RBI Grade B Recruitment Notification quotes the
following criteria standards regarding the educational qualification.
(a) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General):
As per the RBI Grade B recruitment notification, educational qualification for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – general is,
Minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations.
According to the RBI Grade B recruitment notification, the minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters/years.
(b) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR:
As per the RBI Grade B recruitment notification, educational qualification for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR is,
A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute;
OR
PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute;
OR
Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the subcategories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute.
(c) Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM :
As per the RBI Grade B recruitment notification, educational qualification for Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM is,
Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade (aggregate of all semesters / years)
OR
Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from a reputed Institute
OR
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.
According to the RBI Grade B 2021 Recruitment Notification, General Category candidates can appear 6-times for the Phase-I Exam of this post. However, there are no such restrictions in the case of candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD category.

As given in the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2021 Notification, after the enrolment on the role, the candidate of RBI Grade B Officers will receive as 12-14 Lakh annually. Also, they will receive some emoluments and perks for the post of RBI Grade B. The PayScale for the RBI Grade B Officer is Rs. 35150-1750(9)-50900-EB-1750(2)-54400-2000(4)-62400. This means that the candidates will be having the basic pay of Rs. 35,150/- and get an increment of Rs. 1,750/- up till nine years. After that, they will get into the executive band wherein the basic pay will be of Rs. 50,900/- and get an increment of Rs. 1,750/- for two years and further an increment of Rs. 2000/- for the following 2 years thus ending up with the basic pay of Rs. 62,400/-

The RBI Grade B Recruitment Notification 2021 states that the exam pattern will consist of two phases of online examination naming Prelims and mains exams that is followed by an interview stage. The nature of the questions to be answered by the candidate also varies as Phase-I or Prelims only contains objective type questions. RBI Grade B Interview: The final phase of the recruitment is the interview. Candidates who qualify the first two phases of written examination are called for an interview. The RBI Grade B interview is conducted for 50 marks. As per the RBI Grade B recruitment notification, the final selection of a candidate is based on the marks scored in the phase II exam and interview combined together. The prelims is only qualifying in nature and marks obtained by a candidate in the prelims are not considered while making the final merit list. The minimum aggregate cut-off marks for being shortlisted for the Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies.
