RRB Group D Preparation – The Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB Group-D recruitment drives for the posts of  Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, Assistant Pointsman, Level-I posts in Indian Railways. After much delay, now Railways have officially announced that it will be conducting RRB Group D 2020 Online Exam from 15th December 2020 Onwards. Candidates must start their preparation for the same. RRB Group D Exam Pattern 2020

The RRB Group D Exam takes place in three stages. The RRB Grade-D exam pattern for the same is-

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Document Verification and Medical Test

The first stage is the computer-based test which consists of 4 sections. 

General Science(25 questions)	Mathematics(25 questions)
General Intelligence & Reasoning(30 questions)	General Awareness and Current Affairs(20 questions)

The duration of the examination is 90 minutes.

1. General Intelligence & Reasoning Preparation

Railway RRB Group D Preparation tips for General Intelligence & Reasoning -:

• Practice and attempt as many questions as you can. Topics like number series, jumbling, Similarities and Differences requires practice. You can get better only if you practice these more and more.
• For topics like analytical reasoning and statement-Arguments and Assumptions, the key is to have good comprehension skills. Try to grasp the topic completely and answer these questions only when you are very sure. This topic can be confusing so be vigilant while answering.
• Data sufficiency is a topic that you can ace only when you’ve practised enough to know the relevance of the information provided in the question.
• Data interpretation and Venn diagrams can be prepared by practising quizzes from time to time. It helps you come across a wide variety of question.

2. Mathematics

• GK and General Science are topics that require a lot of memorization. To do this well, repetition is the key. These sections are extremely important as they can mark the difference between a successful and a failed attempt. Hence, proper preparation here could be the key to clearing the exam.
• Focus on Important topics: Candidates must prepare important topics first to score high marks in the exam.
