Salary of Goods Guard in RRB NTPC
According to the 7th pay commission, initially, the goods guard will receive a basic pay of ₹29,200. The RRB NTPC goods guard in-hand salary is approximately ₹41,316. Goods Guard responsibilities:
- Maintain Vehicle Guidance (VG): A document containing information regarding the number of wagons, load per wagon, their weight, and total weight.
- Ensure the smooth running of trains.
- Communicating with the Loco Pilot to ensure the smooth running of the train.Â
- After checking the proper functioning of the train, signing the Brake Power certificate (BPC)
- Prepare and maintain train reports related to schedule, functioning, combined train report, etc.
- Identifying and mentioning any trouble faced during the journey. This has to be done in collaboration with the Loco Pilot or Assistant Loco Pilot.
