Here in this question we see that ‘people’ is already plural and verb is always added in plural form to it. The correct option is C.

In the question we see ‘was’ is used after plural noun which is not correct, ‘were’ is the plural form of word should be used with the plural noun. Hence option B is the correct answer.
9) Answer: C
In this question we see that the preposition is not correctly placed. Hence the option C is the correct answer as it fits in well.
10) Answer: A
In the question the word ‘there’ is wrongly placed it should be ‘their’. Here, the correct option is A.
