RRC Northern Railway Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: (As of 20-10-2021)

Minimum: 15 years

Maximum: 24 years

Relaxation is applicable as per the norms.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed the SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks, in aggregate, from the recognized Board and must have passed ITI in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India.

NOTE: The candidate should have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of issue of notification. The applicants whose SSC/Matriculation/10th and ITI results are awaited as of the date of notification are not eligible to apply.

RRC NR Apprentice Selection Process:

The procedure for engagement of candidate will be as under

• Screening & Scrutiny of the application. There will be no written test of the viva.
• Selection of Act Apprentices is to be made on the basis of merit prepared to take the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in both Matriculation/SSC/10″ (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) & ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
• Medical Fitness & Physical Standards
• A final merit list will be prepared cluster, trade-wise, and community-wise, equal to the number of slots in the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in SSC/Matriculation/ 10th Class & ITI.
