Merit list will be drawn State wise and Category wise on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Online Written Test. There will be no sectional qualifying marks. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the State wise and Category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for Screening from the top of the merit list drawn on State wise and Category wise subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as decided by the Bank. Merit List: Merit list for selection of SBI Circle Based Officer 2022 exam will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only.

Merit list will be drawn State wise, category-wise. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.

SBI CBO 2022 Exam Pattern: Online Written Test

The online written tests will consist of Objective Tests for 120 marks and Descriptive Tests for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.

SBI CBO Test A: Objective Test (Online)

The duration of the objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of a total of 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

SBI CBO Test B: Descriptive Test (Online)- 30 minutes

The duration of the Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total of 50 marks.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:

• There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests.
• Sectional Marks will not be maintained for Online Written examinations.

Screening: SBI CBO Recruitment 2022 Notification PDF

Online applications and documents of candidates, who are shortlisted based on performance in online examination will be placed before the Screening Committee. The Screening Committee constituted by the Bank will examine whether the candidates fulfill the required eligibility criteria of experience. The Committee will match the job profile submitted by the candidates (certified by their existing/ previous employer(s) with whom they are/were employed) with the job profile of Scale-I Generalist Officer of the State Bank of India. In case their job profile does not match substantially or is different than the job profile of Scale-I Generalist Officer of State Bank of India, then the application of the candidate will be summarily rejected. The decision of the Bank in this regard would be final and binding on all candidates. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard. The candidates, who fulfill the required experience as decided by the Screening Committee, will be called for an interview.

Interview:

The interview will consist of 50 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in an interview to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.

The candidates will have to qualify both in Online Written Test and Interview separately. The marks obtained in Online Written Test, both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in the Interview for preparing the final merit list. The final merit list would be prepared based on normalization of marks scored in Online Written tests and interviews with 75:25 weightage respectively

SBI CBO Recruitment 2022 Notification Salary:

• Presently, the starting basic pay is 36,000/- on a scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2- 49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I plus one increment for each completed year of service rendered in officer cadre in Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Regional Rural Bank as of 01.12.2022.
• However, the maximum advance increment has been capped at 2 (two), irrespective of the duration of experience gained in previous employment.
• The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
