Q: Will SBI Clerk conducted in Online or Offline mode?

A: SBI Clerk will only be conducted in the online mode.

Q: Are the candidates with a degree from distant learning eligible to apply?

A: Yes, if the university is recognized by the Government Of India then you are eligible to apply.

Q: Will the marks of SBI Clerk Prelims be considered for final selection?

A: The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection and only the aggregate marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be considered for preparation of the final merit list.

Q: What is the Test of opted local language mentioned in the notification?

A: Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates not found proficient in specified opted local language would be disqualified.

Q: How much is the Application Fee to apply for SBI Clerk? 

A: For General/ OBC/ EWS the application fee is Rs 750. For SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS there is no application fee. 

Q: How many times can I apply for SBI Clerk?

A: There is no restriction mentioned. So, provided that you fulfil all the eligibility criteria, you can apply for this exam.

Q: Can Diploma Students apply for SBI Clerk Exam?

A: No, the minimum requirement to apply for the SBI Clerk exam is a Graduation Degree.

Q: What is the Wait List in the SBI Clerk Exam & What is its validity?

A: A Wait List of up to 50% of vacancies (State-category wise) will be maintained. Candidates will be released from this waitlist on a quarterly basis against non-joining and resignation out of the current batch only, subject to the candidates securing minimum qualifying marks as may be stipulated by the Bank for selection. This Wait List will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the final result.
