Answers :
Directions (1-5) :
B works with F and having retirement in 2035. All persons must work 58 years from the year of joining so B joined the department in 1977.
D works in Customs and has experience which is equal to the sum of the work experience of A and B. Another one who joined customs in 2011 so he had an experience of 8years. Difference between the joining years of B and C is equal to the experience of the one who gets retirement in 2069. Then difference is 8 so C joined in 1985. C joins after B.
E works with same department as the one who has high experience in the group. Sum of the work experience of both E and C is equal to the working experience of B From the statement we got E had 8 year and he works in the Customs. One whose joining year is 1999 was works in the same department with neither A nor E. From above statement we assume that there is no possible for A then it has to gone with option F only. A had less experience than F. One who joins in 1985 is not work with D. Then possible case is A was joined in 2005.
D works in Customs and has the experience which is equal to the sum of A and B works experience. One who has 14 year experience is neither working in Customs nor Transports. The difference between the work experience of A and C is equal to the work experience of F. The difference between the joining year of A and F is two less than the work experience of E in Customs.
Six persons sit around in the hexagon table based on their working experience. Persons sit in the centre of the hexagon table. All of them are facing centre. E sits 2nd to the right of high experienced guy. F sits 2nd to the right of the who has 2nd high experienced person. A sits immediate neighbour of both high and least experienced persons of the group. C sits 2nd to the right of one who joined customs in 2011.C doesn’t works in same department with E. Two persons from same department not sit immediate to each other. That means, C works in Railways.
1) Answer: D
2) Answer: D
3) Answer: C
4) Answer: B
5) Answer: E
Directions (6-10) :
We have:
Input: Have 64 Read Follow 29 36 Mind 31 25 Ground 35 Never 23 Twice 91 Year
Clearly, machine rearranges one number and one word in each step.
For words arrangement: Words are arranged in alphabetical and reverse alphabetical order in each alternate step respectively as they appear in English Dictionary starting from left to right.
For numbers arrangement: There are three type of numbers are there in number series –odd but not prime and square, prime and perfect square, each number type are rearranged in ascending order one by one in each step and in odd numbered step as word followed by number, in even numbered step as word preceded by numberas follows:
Step I: Follow 35 Have 64 Read 29 36 Mind 31 25 Ground Never 23 Twice 91 Year
Thus, in step I, word that appears first in English dictionary followed by smallest odd number in extreme left end.
Step II: 23 Year Follow 35 Have 64 Read 29 36 Mind 31 25 Ground Never Twice 91
Thus, in step II, word that appears last in English dictionary preceded by smallest prime number in extreme left end.
Step III: Ground 25 23 Year Follow 35 Have 64 Read 29 36 Mind 31 Never Twice 91
Thus, in step III, word that appears second in English dictionary followed by smallest perfect square number in extreme left end.
Hence, on given machine output we get following arrangement.
Input: High 81 Dare 39 View 51 61 19 Find 16 Real Blow Some 47 57 Kind
Step I: Blow 39High 81 Dare View 51 61 19 Find 16 Real Some 47 57 Kind
Step II: 19 View Blow 39High 81 Dare 51 61 Find 16 Real Some 47 57 Kind
Step III: Dare 16 19 View Blow 39High 81 51 61 Find Real Some 47 57 Kind
Step IV: 51 Some Dare 16 19 View Blow 39 High 81 61 Find Real 47 57 Kind
Step V: Find 47 51 Some Dare 16 19 View Blow 39 High 81 61 Real 57 Kind
Step VI: 81 Real Find 47 51 Some Dare 16 19 View Blow 39 High 61 57 Kind
Step VII: High 57 81 Real Find 47 51 Some Dare 16 19 View Blow 39 61 Kind
Step VIII: 61Kind High 57 81 Real Find 47 51 Some Dare 16 19 View Blow 39
Step VIII is the last step of the above arrangement.
6) Answer: C
Step V: Find 47 51 Some Dare 16 19 View Blow 39 High 81 61 Real 57 Kind
Clearly, the position of 16 in step V from right end is eleventh.
Hence, option C is correct choice.
7) Answer: E
We have:
Step III: Dare 16 19 View Blow 39High 81 51 61 Find Real Some 47 57 Kind
Thus, 61 is seventh from right end.
Hence, option E is correct choice.
8) Answer: A
Clearly, given output represents step VI.
Hence, option A is correct choice.
9) Answer: C
We have:
Step V: Find 47 51 Some Dare 16 19 View Blow 39 High 81 61 Real 57 Kind
Hence, option C is correct choice.
10) Answer: A
We have:
Step VII: High 57 81 Real Find 47 51 Some Dare 16 19 View Blow 39 61 Kind, two elements are there between Real and 51, Dare and View. Thus, Some and 19 also have two elements.
Hence, option A is correct choice.
