Total number of balls sold by shop R in April, shop S in May and shop T
= 1750 + 1000 + 950 = 3700
Total number of balls sold by shop T = 1050 + 1300 + 1600 + 1450 + 1850 + 950 = 8200
Required % = (8200 – 3700)/8200 * 100 = 54.8% = 55%
8) Answer: C
Total number of balls sold by shop P in all the given months together
= > 1200 + 900 + 1000 + 1550 + 850 + 1300

The total number of balls sold by shop T
= 1050+ 1300+ 1600 + 1450 + 1850 + 950 = 8200
Increased by 18%= 8200/100 * 118 = 9676
The sale in March = 1000 + 1500 + 1100 + 1800 + 1600 = 7000
Decreased by 20% = 7000/100 * 80 = 5600
