Securities and Exchange Board of India has released the SEBI Grade A Notification for 147 Vacancies for Assistant Manager posts in various streams. Candidates can start to apply online from 7th March 2020 to 23rd March 2020. Candidates, who are going to apply for SEBI Recruitment 2020, have to appear for the SEBP Phase Exam 2020. To attend the SEBI Phase Exam 2020, candidates need to know about SEBI Phase Selection Process and SEBI Phase Exam Pattern.
To gain good marks and qualify in the SEBI Phase Exam 2020, candidates need to check the SEBI Assistant Manager Selection Procedure and SEBI Assistant Manager Exam Pattern. In this article, we have given a brief description of the SEBI Selection Process 2020. Only based on the marks scored in the SEBI Exam 2020, candidates will be selected for the next stage of the SEBI Recruitment process. The selection will be purely on merit basis only. The SEBI Exam 2020 will have objective type questions. All SEBI Phase Exams 2020 will have Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.
1. SEBI PHASE I ON-LINE EXAMINATION
The SEBI Phase I online screening examination consisting of two papers (Multiple Choice questions of 100 marks each) will be held on April 12, 2020. The SEBI Phase I Exam Pattern is given below

- Negative Marking  – 1/4th of marks assigned to the wrong answers for Paper 1 and Paper 2
- The cut-off of minimum 30% for Paper 1 (no sectional cut-off shall be there) and a cut-off of minimum 40% for Paper 2 in SEBI Phase I Examination
- Candidates need scores the given cut-off for Paper I and Paper II and also they need to score the Aggregate Cut off Mark of 40% to get shortlisted for SEBI Phase 2 Examination
- Phase I examination process is only for shortlisted candidates for SEBI Phase II Examination Process and will not be counted for the final selection process
- List of candidates shortlisted for SEBI Phase 2 Exam 2020 will be made available on SEBI website

2. SEBI PHASE II ON-LINE EXAMINATION
The SEBI Phase 2 online examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each will be held on May 3rd, 2020. The SEBI Phase 2 Exam Pattern is given belowÂ

- Candidates need scores the given cut-off for Paper I and Paper II and also they need to score the Aggregate Cut off Mark of 40% to get shortlisted for Phase III Interview
- Individual call letter will be sent to the candidates who got shortlisted for SEBI Phase 2 Examinations 2020
- For candidates who have applied in multiple streams, Paper 2 will be conducted in various shifts, the timings of which will be intimated in the Hall Ticket.
NOTE: All question papers asked in SEBI Phase 1 and Phase 2 Examination (except the test of English) will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
3. SEBI Phase III – Interview
A candidate who clears the SEBI Phase II examination will be shortlisted for Interview Process. Candidates can choose the Language option for Interview for English or Hindi. Weightage of marks obtained in Phase II will be 85%, while marks obtained in interview shall be given a weightage of 15%.
