Educational Qualification:

Individuals should possess the educational qualification as follows to apply for the post mentioned in Southern Railway Recruitment 2018

Selection procedure:

The selection for Southern Railway Recruitment will be based on the following

  • Merit list

The merit list will be prepared by Committee nominated for the purpose on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks) plus ITI marks. The Minimum percentage of 50% marks in aggregated in matriculation which is not applicable to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PWD candidates.

About Southern Railway

Southern Railways was established on 14th April 1951. The head quarters of Southern Railways located at Chennai. It includes three state railways namely Chennai railways, Southern Mahratta Railways and the Mysore state Railways. The southern railways serve the almost the southern zone of India covering larger areas in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Pondicherry and some portions of Andhra Pradesh.
