SSC CHSL Exam Centre: CHSL Tier-1 Exam which was held on the first shift of the SSC CHSL exam got over on March 17, 2020, was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic to new date 12-Oct-2020 to 16-Oct-2020, 19-Oct-2020 to 21-Oct-2020 and 26-Oct-2020. Staff Selection Commission conducts Exam across nine regions in India at different Cities. Candidate can choose at least three centres according to his/ her priority within the same region. According to the Staff selection commission, there will be no change in the SSC CHSL Exam Centre once it is chosen. Although SSC reserves the right to change in the SSC CHSL exam centre of any candidate and ask the candidate to appear at different centres.
Staff Selection Commission has recently opened the link for the candidates to change their SSC CHSL Exam Centre from 18 Sept 2020 to 20 Sept 2020 due to Corona Pandemic using their registered Username and Password.

- Visit the official website of SSC – https://ssc.nic.in/
- Fill the login credentials – registration number and password
- Click on Latest Notifications under candidate dashboard
- Fill SSC CHSL exam centre preference in the required field
- Check and save the details.

Q. Can I change my SSC CHSL Exam Center?
A. No, you can’t change your SSC CHSL Exam Center until SSC allows you to change the Center, as this year SSC has opened a link From 18 Sept to 20 Sept 2020 to change the exam center due to Covid-19.
Q. Can SSC CHSL Exam postponed?
A. SSC CHSL Exam was postponed from 17 March to 28 March 2020 to 16 Oct to 26 Oct 2020, due to COVID- 19. If it is needed It can or Can not be postponed.
Q. Is the Typing Test necessary for all the SSC CHSL posts?
A. No, Typing Test is compulsory for the Post of only for those, who have applied for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant.
