The official notification for SSC CHSL 2020-21 exam will be released on 6th November 2020.
Yes, SSC CHSL will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages.
There is a provision for the negative marking of 1/4th of the marks per question. So, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
SSC CHSL is conducted for the following posts:
=> Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
=> Postal Assistant (PA)
=> Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
=> Data Entry Operator (DEO)
=> Sorting Assistant (SA)
There is no fixed number of vacancies. It varies every year but to get an idea in 2019 and 2018 the number of vacancies was 4893 and 5789 respectively.

Complete Salary Details for SSC CHSL Officer
The application fee for candidates of the General category is ₹100. Fee exemption is applicable for reserved category candidates and women candidates.
For General: ₹100
For SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Female: Nil
The SSC CHSL examination tests are conducted in three stages i.e. tier I, tier II and tier III. To clear the examination one has to qualify all the tiers.

SSC CHSL tests the candidate mainly in four sections. To give you a brief idea listed below are some topics per subject:
a) Reasoning= Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Problem Solving, Venn Diagrams, Figural Pattern, folding and completion, etc.
b) English Language= Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonym, Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, One-word substitution, cloze passage, etc.
c) General Awareness= Geography, Current affairs, General Polity, Scientific Research, History, Economic Scene, etc.
