SSC JHT Recruitment Notification is released almost every year to recruit candidates for the posts of Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.
The SSC JHT online application was active between 29th June 2020 and 25th July 2020. As per the SSC JHT recruitment notification, the exam was scheduled to be held in October 2020, however, due to the pandemic, the examination was deferred. Now, the SSC JHT Paper 1 and Paper 2 new exam dates have been released by SSC. The SSC JHT Paper 1 is scheduled to be held on 19.11.2020 while the paper 2 is scheduled to be held on 14-02-2021.

1. Age Limit
The age limit as on 01.01.2021 is 18-30 years i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1991 and not later than 01-01-2003 are eligible to apply.

Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
OR
Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level.

SSC JHT Recruitment Notification: Fees
According to the SSC JHT recruitment notification, the fees for the online application form is Rs. 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with disability (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each question marked as wrong in Paper-I.
- Paper-I is an online Computer Based Test whereas Paper-II is a written subjective paper.
