Direction (1-5)
Only two persons are sitting to the right of O so O is 3rd from the right end.
O | |||||||
N is 27 years old. Two persons are sitting between N and O. Two persons are sitting between M and the one who is 18 years old. M is not neighbor of N. M is not sitting at any end. So M is either immediate right or immediate left of O. As P is 2nd to the right of the one who is 18 years old. M is 21 years old.
N | P | M | O | ||||
18 | 27 | 21 |
O’s age is twice of the S’s age so only one combination is left. S is 18 years old and O is 36 years old. Q is neighbor of S so Q is at the left end. One person is sitting between T and the one who is 36 years old so T is at the right end and R is immediate right of O.
Q | S | N | P | M | O | R | T |
18 | 27 | 21 | 36 |
R is younger to O then R must be 33 years old. P is elder to Q but younger to T. So Q is 42 years old, P is 55 years old and T is 60 years old.
Here is the final arrangement:
Q | S | N | P | M | O | R | T |
42 | 18 | 27 | 55 | 21 | 36 | 33 | 60 |
T is the eldest person in the group.
Hence, option A.
Two persons are sitting between them.
Hence, option C.
S is 3rd to the left of M.
Hence, option B.
R is 33 years old.
Hence, option D.
Only T is elder to P.
Hence, option B.
Direction (6-10)

L=1, M=2, N=3, P=4, Q=5, R=6, S=7, T=8
V=1, W=2, X=3, Y=4, Z=5
From condition IV,
extra→$xtr$→$386$
hence, option E.
From condition III,
table→t9bl9→89119
8+9+1+1+9=28
Hence, option A.
