Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H were born on different dates i.e. 7th, 10th, 15th and 24th in these two months i.e. March and April. Four persons were born in each month on these dates. Their weights are different. Note: The person who born on an even numbered date is weight is multiple of 2 and the person who born on an odd numbered date is weight is multiple of 3. G is 64kg and at least three persons were born after G. Two persons were born between G and D and D was not born on 15th of any of these months. The number of person born after D is same as before the one whose weight is 74kg. Two persons were born between the one whose weight is 74kg and B. B was born before the one whose weight is 74kg. B is 7kg lighter to G. F’s weight is 87kg. One person was born between F and the one whose weight is 69kg. The one whose weight is 69kg was born before F. H is 13kg heavier to D. H was born after F. One person was born between H and the one whose weight is 56kg. C is 25kg heavier to E and C is the heaviest person in the group.
Direction (6-10): Study the information given below and answer the questions based on it.
A#B→ A is brother of B
A@B→ A is father of B
A%B→ A is son of B
A$B→ A is sister of B
A&B→ A is wife of B
A*B→ A is daughter of B
Direction (1-5):
As we know the person who born on an even numbered date is weight is multiple of 2 and the person who born on an odd numbered date is weight is multiple of 3.
G is 64kg so G’s weight is multiple of 2 and at least three persons were born after G. It means G is either born on 10th March or 24th March because of even number dates.
Case 1: If G was born on 24th March-
Month | 7th | 10th | 15th | 24th |
March | G (64) | |||
April |
Two persons were born between G and D and D was not born on 15th of any of these months. So D was born on 7th March. The number of person born after D is same as before the one whose weight is 74kg then the one whose weight is 74kg was born on 24th April. Two persons were born between the one whose weight is 74kg and B. B was born before the one whose weight is 74kg so B was born on 7th April.
B is 7kg lighter to G then B’s weight is (64-7) 57 kg.
Month | 7th | 10th | 15th | 24th |
March | D | G (64) | ||
April | B (57) | (74) |
F’s weight is 87kg so F was born on an odd number date. One person was born between F and the one whose weight is 69kg. The one whose weight is 69kg was born before F so D’s weight is 69kg and F was born on 15th March. H is 13kg heavier to D so H’s weight is (69+13)=82kg. H was born after F so H was born on 10th April.
Month | 7th | 10th | 15th | 24th |
March | D (69) | F (87) | G (64) | |
April | B (57) | H (82) | (74) |
One person was born between H and the one whose weight is 56kg but from this case it is not possible so this case gets rejected.
Case 2: If G was born on 10th March-
Month | 7th | 10th | 15th | 24th |
March | G (64) | |||
April |
Two persons were born between G and D and D was not born on 15th of any of these months. So D was born on 7th April. The number of person born after D is same as before the one whose weight is 74kg then the one whose weight is 74kg was born on 24th March. Two persons were born between the one whose weight is 74kg and B. B was born before the one whose weight is 74kg so B was born on 7th March.
B is 7kg lighter to G then B’s weight is (64-7) 57 kg.
Month | 7th | 10th | 15th | 24th |
March | B (57) | G (64) | (74) | |
April | D |
F’s weight is 87kg so F was born on an odd number date. One person was born between F and the one whose weight is 69kg. The one whose weight is 69kg was born before F so D’s weight is 69kg and F was born on 15th April. H is 13kg heavier to D so H’s weight is (69+13)=82kg. H was born after F so H was born on 24th April. One person was born between H and the one whose weight is 56kg so the one whose weight is 56kg was born on 10th April.
Month | 7th | 10th | 15th | 24th |
March | B (57) | G (64) | (74) | |
April | D (69) | (56) | F (87) | H (82) |
C is 25kg heavier to E and C is the heaviest person in the group. If E is 56kg then C will be 81kg then C cannot be heaviest person. It means E is 74kg then C is 74+25=99kg and A is 56kg.
Here is the final table:
Month | 7th | 10th | 15th | 24th |
March | B (57) | G (64) | C (99) | E (74) |
April | D (69) | A (56) | F (87) | H (82) |
A is the lightest person in the group.
Hence, option B.
Hence, option B.
All the persons were born in March except F.
Hence, option C.
Hence, option C.
A is not the heavier than G.
Hence, option D.

Family Tree:
As T is mother of S so S is younger to T then S is 9 years old.
Hence, option D.
U is daughter-in-law of M.
Hence, option C.
R is grandmother of P.
Hence, option B.
We don’t know the gender of S. So can’t be determined.
Hence, option E.
O is brother of T.
Hence, option A.
