A is 33 years old and lives just above F’s flat. As A’s age is an odd number so A must live on an odd numbered floor and we know that A’s flat is just above the F’s flat so A cannot stay on 1st floor now A must stay on 3rd floor. C lives immediate left of F but doesn’t stay on flat II. So F must live on Flat II on 2nd floor and C lives on flat I on 2nd floor and A lives on flat II on 3rd floor.
Floor | Flat I | Flat II | Flat III |
4 | |||
3 | A(33) | ||
2 | C | F | |

E is 3 years younger to A and lives in flat II. So E is 30 years old so E either lives on 2nd or 4th floor. B lives immediate left of E so E doesn’t stay on 2nd floor then E must live on 4th floor on flat II. L is 56 years old. L is 20 years elder to J. So J is 36 years old. L and E don’t stay on the same floor. So L lives on 2nd floor in flat III and J lives on 4th floor in flat III.
Floor | Flat I | Flat II | Flat III |
4 | B | E(30) | J(36) |
3 | A(33) | ||
2 | C | F | L(56) |

F is 40 years old. H’s flat just below B’s flat so H lives on 3rd floor in flat I. G is 13 years old and lives in flat I so G lives on 1st floor in flat I. K is 61 years old and lives just below L’s flat. So K lives on 1st floor in flat III. I is 7 years elder to F so I is 47 years old and lives on 1st floor in flat II then D lives on 3rd floor in flat III. H is 2 years elder to G so H is 15 years old. J’s age is twice the age of B’s age so B is 18 years old.D and G are not lives in same floor.
Here is the final table:
Floor | Flat I | Flat II | Flat III |
4 | B(18) | E(30) | J(36) |
3 | H(15) | A(33) | D(—-) |
2 | C(—-) | F(40) | L(56) |
1 | G(13) | I(47) | K(61) |
D’s age must be 27 years old.
Hence, option D.
H is 15 years old.
Hence, option A.
All the persons are staying on an even numbered floor except H.
Hence, option B.
I lives in flat II.
Hence, option C.
D lives just below J’s flat.
Hence, option A.
Direction (6-10)
Family Tree:
A is aunt of H.
Hence, option A.
4 female members in the family.
Hence, option D.
All the persons are males except G.
Hence, option C.
B is father-in-law of C.
Hence, option C.
