1). Authoritarianism (Noun) – अधिनायकवाद
Definition: favouring or enforcing strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom.
Synonyms: autocratic, dictatorial, totalitarian, despotic, tyrannical, autarchic,
draconian, absolute
Antonyms: democratic, liberal, lenient, permissive
Usage: the transition from an authoritarian to a democratic regime
2). Plebiscite (Noun) – जनमत-संग्रह
Definition: the direct vote of all the members of an electorate on an important public question such as a change in the constitution.
Synonyms: vote, referendum, ballot, poll
Usage: the administration will hold a plebiscite for the approval of constitutional reforms
3). Detention (Noun) – नजरबंदी
Definition: the action of detaining someone or the state of being detained in official custody.
Synonyms: custody, imprisonment, confinement, incarceration, internment, captivity, restraint, arrest
Antonyms: aid, custody, delay, help.

Definition: increase rapidly above the usual level.

Definition: praise (someone, typically a member of the armed forces) in an official report for a courageous act.

Usage: he has been cited many times for his contributions in the intelligence area
7). Prelude (Noun) – प्रस्ताव
Definition: an action or event serving as an introduction to something more important.

Antonyms: Conclusion, postscript.
Usage: a ceasefire had been agreed as a prelude to full peace negotiations

Definition: a place or group that is different in character from those surrounding it.

Definition: an active revolt or uprising.

Definition: the holding or expression of opinions at variance with those commonly or officially held.
