1). Scandal (Noun) कांड

Definition: an action or event regarded as morally or legally wrong and causing general public outrage.

Synonyms: outrageous wrongdoing, outrageous behaviour, immoral behaviour, unethical behaviour, discreditable behaviour

Antonyms: approval, honor, praise.

Usage: a bribery scandal involving one of his key supporters

 

2). Denting (Verb) – कमजोर करना

Definition: have an adverse effect on; diminish.

Synonyms: diminish, reduce, lessen, shrink, weaken, erode, undermine, sap,  shake, break

Antonyms: increase, bulge.

Usage: this neither deterred him nor dented his enthusiasm

 

3). Ferried (Verb) – यहाँ से वहां ले जाना

Definition: transport from one place to another on short or regular trips.

Synonyms: transport, convey, carry, bear, ship, run, chauffeur, take, bring, shuttle

Antonyms: hold, keep, maintain.

Usage: ambulances ferried the injured to hospital

 

4). Ruthless (Adjective) – क्रूर

Definition: having or showing no pity or compassion for others.

Synonyms: merciless, pitiless, cruel, heartless, hard-hearted, hard, stony-hearted, stony

Antonyms: calm, civilized, easy, feeling.

Usage: a ruthless manipulator

 

5). Trauma (Noun) – अभिघात

Definition: physical injury.

Synonyms: injury, damage, hurt, wound, wounding, sore, bruise, cut, laceration,

lesion

Usage: rupture of the diaphragm caused by blunt trauma

 

6). Aliens (Noun) – विदेशी

Definition: a foreigner, especially one who is not a naturalized citizen of the country where he or she is living.

Synonyms: foreigner, foreign national, non-native, immigrant, emigrant, émigré

Antonyms: local, national, native.

Usage: an enemy alien

 

7). Endure (Verb) – सहना

Definition: suffer (something painful or difficult) patiently.

Synonyms: undergo, go through, live through, experience, meet, encounter

Antonyms: disallow, reject, retreat.

Usage: it seemed impossible that anyone could endure such pain

 

8). Anxiety (Noun) – व्यग्रता

Definition: a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome.

Synonyms:worry, concern, apprehension, apprehensiveness, consternation,

uneasiness

Antonyms: advantage, calm, certainty.

Usage: he felt a surge of anxiety

 

9). Grotesque (Adjective) – विकृत

Definition: comically or repulsively ugly or distorted.

Synonyms: malformed, deformed, misshapen, misproportioned, distorted, twisted

Antonyms: common, familiar, little.

Usage: a figure wearing a grotesque mask

 

10). Enshrined (Verb) – प्रतिष्ठापित करना

Definition: preserve (a right, tradition, or idea) in a form that ensures it will be protected and respected.

Synonyms: set down, set out, spell out, express, lay down, set in stone, embody, realize, manifest

Antonyms: condemn, desecrate, defile, disrespect

Usage: the right of all workers to strike was enshrined in the new constitution

 

11). Repercussions (Noun) – नतीजों

Definition: an unintended consequence of an event or action, especially an unwelcome one.

Synonyms: consequence, result, effect, outcome, by-product

Antonyms: cause, reason.

Usage: the move would have grave repercussions for the entire region

 

12). Impartial (Adjective) – निष्पक्ष

Definition: treating all rivals or disputants equally.

Synonyms: unbiased, unprejudiced, neutral, non-partisan, non-discriminatory, anti-discrimination

Antonyms:  interested, partial, unfair.

Usage: the minister cannot be impartial in the way that a judge would be
