1). Remunerative (Adjective) — पारिश्रमिक-संबंधी

Definition: financially rewarding; lucrative.

Synonyms:  lucrative, well paid, financially rewarding, financially worthwhile, moneymaking, paying, gainful

Antonyms: loss, unfavourable.

Usage: highly remunerative activities

 

2). Chunk (Noun) – टुकड़ा

Definition: a thick, solid piece of something.

Synonyms: lump, hunk, wedge, block, slab, square, nugget, nub, brick, cube, bar

Antonyms: some, few, little quantity.

Usage: huge chunks of masonry littered the street

 

3). Curb (Noun) – संयम

Definition: a check or restraint on something.

Synonyms: restraint, restriction, check, brake, rein, control, limitation, limit,

constraint, stricture

Antonyms:  free, set free, let go, allow to leave, set/let/turn loose, let out, liberate, set at liberty, deliver, rescue

Usage: plans to introduce tougher curbs on insider dealing

 

4). Shackles (Verb) – हथकड़ी लगाना

Definition: chain with shackles.

Synonyms: secure, tie (up), bind, tether, hobble;

put in chains, put/clap in irons, handcuff

Antonyms: free, release.

Usage: the prisoner was shackled to the heavy steel chair in the centre of the room

 

5). Contentious (Adjective) – विवादास्पद

Definition: causing or likely to cause an argument; controversial.

Synonyms:  controversial, disputable, debatable, disputed, contended, open to question/debate, moot, vexed

Antonyms: agree, approve.

Usage: a contentious issue

 

6). Plenary (Adjective) – शर्थ्राहित

Definition: unqualified; absolute.

Synonyms: unconditional, unlimited, unrestricted, unqualified, absolute, complete,   sweeping, comprehensive;

Antonyms: incomplete, limit, part, partial

Usage: crusaders were offered a plenary indulgence by the Pope

 

7). Burgeoning (Verb) – तेजी से बढ़ते

Definition: begin to grow or increase rapidly; flourish.

Synonyms:  grow rapidly, increase rapidly/exponentially, expand, spring up, shoot up, swell, explode, boom

 Antonyms: shrink, reduce.

Usage: manufacturers are keen to cash in on the burgeoning demand

 

8). Assassination (Noun) – हत्या

Definition: the action of assassinating someone.

Synonyms: murder, killing, political execution, slaughter, butchery, homicide, liquidation, elimination, extermination, termination

Antonyms: bear, create, keep.

Usage: the assassination of President Kennedy

 

9). Mainstreamed (Adjective) – मुख्यधारा

Definition: considered normal, and having or using ideas, beliefs

Synonyms: normal, conventional, ordinary, orthodox, conformist, accepted,

established, recognized, common

Antonyms: abnormal, extraordinary, unusual, secondary.

Usage: vegetarianism has been mainstreamed

 

10). Untapped (Adjective) – अप्रयुक्त

Definition: (of a resource) not yet exploited or used.

Synonyms: initial, first, fresh, new

Antonyms: final, used, old, concluded.

Usage: the vast untapped potential of individual women and men
