1). Inflation  (Noun) – मुद्रास्फीति

Definition: a general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money

Synonyms: hike, rise, boost, expansion, boom, enlargement

Antonyms: deflation, decrease, compression, reduction, shrinkage

Usage: policies aimed at controlling inflation

 

2). Exodus (Noun) वापसी

Definition:  a mass departure of people.

Synonyms: withdrawal, evacuation, exit, diaspora, retreat

Antonyms: arrival, stay, coming, entrance

Usage: he annual exodus of sun-seeking Canadians to Florida

 

3). Stance (Noun) रवैया

Definition: the attitude of a person or organization towards something; a standpoint

4). Spurt (Verb) उछाल

Definition: gush out in a sudden and forceful stream

5). Exacerbate (Verb) बदतर करना

Definition: make (a problem, bad situation, or negative feeling) worse

Usage: enrichment of the soil for more plant growth

 

7). Salvage (Verb) उबार करना

Definition:  retrieve or preserve (something) from potential loss or adverse circumstances

Antonyms: abandon, lose, forfeit

Usage: it was the only crumb of comfort he could salvage from the ordeal

 

8). Provocative (Adjective) उत्तेजक

Definition: causing anger or another strong reaction, especially deliberately

Synonyms: annoying, irritating, infuriating, provoking

Antonyms: soothing, calming

Usage: a provocative article

 

9). Circumvent (Verb) दरकिनार करना

Definition: find a way around (an obstacle)

Synonyms: avoid, evade, bypass, sidestep, dodge

Antonyms: aid, assist, encourage, take on, face, help

Usage: if you come to an obstruction in a road you can seek to circumvent it

 

10). Concern (Verb) सम्बंधित होना

Definition: relate to; be about

Synonyms:  cover, treat, examine, review, analyse

Antonyms: serenity, indifference

Usage: the story concerns a friend of mine
