1). Provocation (Noun) – उकसावा
Definition: action or speech that makes someone angry, especially deliberately.
Synonyms: incitement, rousing, stirring, stimulation, prompting, inducement, encouragement, urging
Antonyms: compliment, happiness, discouragement, hindrance
Usage: you should remain calm and not respond to provocation
2). Bureaucracy (Noun) – नौकरशाही
Definition: excessively complicated administrative procedure
Synonyms: red tape, rules and regulations, etiquette, protocol, officialdom
Antonyms: Adhocracy
Usage: the unnecessary bureaucracy in local government
3). Strident (Adjective) – कठोर
Definition: loud and harsh; grating
Synonyms:harsh, raucous, rough, grating, rasping, jarring, loud, stentorian, shrill, screeching, piercing, ear-piercing
Antonyms: soft, dulcet
Usage: his voice had become increasingly strident
4). Discretionary (Adjective) – विवेकाधीन
Definition: available for use at the discretion of the user

5). Curtail (Verb) – घटाना या कम करना
Definition: reduce in extent or quantity; impose a restriction on.

Antonyms: increase, lengthen

Definition: a person who has had long experience in a particular field

Definition: not easily convinced; having doubts or reservations

8). Contentious (Adjective) – विवादास्पद
Definition: causing or likely to cause an argument; controversial.
Synonyms: controversial, disputable, debatable, disputed, contended, open to question/debate, moot, vexed
Antonyms: affable, benevolent, cordial, genial
Usage: a contentious issue
9). Stance (Noun) – रुख
Definition: the attitude of a person or organization towards something; a standpoint.
Synonyms: attitude, stand, point of view, viewpoint, opinion
Antonyms: unsteadiness, inaction, truancy, malingering
Usage: the party is changing its stance on Europe
10). Tenuous (Adjective) – कमजोर
Definition: very slender or fine; insubstantial.
Synonyms: fine, thin, slender, attenuated, delicate, gossamer, fragile
Antonyms: convincing, substantial, strong
Usage: a tenuous thread
