1). Deprivation (Noun) अभाव

Definition: the lack of something considered to be a necessity

Synonyms: dispossession, withholding, withdrawal, removal, taking away, stripping, divestment, divestiture

Antonyms: advantage, benefit, gain, bestowal, endowment

Usage: sleep deprivation

 

2). Confound (Verb) उलझाना

Definition: cause surprise or confusion in (someone), especially by not according with their expectations.

Synonyms:amaze, astonish, dumbfound, stagger, surprise, startle, stun, stupefy, daze, nonplus

Antonyms: bore, calm, clarify, clear up, comfort

Usage: the inflation figure confounded economic analysts

 

3). Disparity (Noun) असमानता

Definition: a great difference

Synonyms:discrepancy, inconsistency, imbalance, inequality, incongruity, unevenness, disproportion

Antonyms: parity, similarity

Usage: economic disparities between different regions of the country

 

4). Imperative (Adjective) आज्ञार्थक

Definition: of vital importance; crucial

Synonyms: all-important, vital, crucial, critical, essential,

Antonyms: unimportant, optional

Usage: immediate action was imperative

 

5). Conceive (Verb) – सूत्रित करना

Definition: form or devise (a plan or idea) in the mind.

Synonyms: devise, form, formulate, design, frame, invent, coin, originate, create, develop, evolve

Antonyms: neglect, dislike, avoid, disregard, fail

Usage: the dam project was originally conceived in 1977

 

6). Dwarf (Noun) – बौना

Definition: a member of a mythical race of short, stocky human-like creatures who are generally skilled in mining and metalworking.

7). Overshoot (Verb) लक्ष्य के बाहर चले जाना

Definition: go past (an intended stopping or turning point) inadvertently.

Synonyms: leave, skip, cancel, abandon, digress, evade

Antonyms: uphold, address, decline, decrease, face

Usage: the department may overshoot its cash limit

 

8). Steep (Adjective) खड़ी

Definition: (of a rise or fall in an amount) very large or rapid

Synonyms: sharp, sudden, precipitate, precipitous, rapid

Antonyms: calm, low, gradual, nice, kind

Usage: the steep rise in unemployment

 

9). Vocal (Adjective) – मुखर

Definition: expressing opinions or feelings freely or loudly.

Synonyms:vociferous, outspoken, forthright, plainspoken, blunt, frank, direct, candid, open, uninhibited

Antonyms: taciturn, reticent

Usage: he was vocal in condemning the action

 

10). Appease (Verb) शांत करना

Definition: pacify or placate (someone) by acceding to their demands

Synonyms: conciliate, placate, pacify, make peace with, propitiate, palliate, allay, reconcile

Antonyms: provoke, inflame

Usage: amendments have been added to appease local pressure groups
