1). Arraignment (Noun) अभियोग

Definition: the action of arraigning someone in court.

Synonyms:indictment, accusation, denunciation, prosecution, trial, charge, summons,

Antonyms: vindication, acquittal, exculpation, applause

Usage: he’s scheduled for arraignment in New York

 

2). Bribery (Noun) – रिश्वतखोरी

Definition:  the giving or offering of a bribe

Synonyms: corruption, subornation

Antonyms: integrity, honesty, probity, frankness

Usage: his opponent had been guilty of bribery and corruption

 

3). Amiss (Adjective) – अनुचित

Definition: not quite right; inappropriate or out of place.

Synonyms: wrong, awry, faulty, out of order, defective, unsatisfactory, incorrect, untoward, adrift, astray, inappropriate, improper, unsuitable

Antonyms: right, in order

Usage: there was something amiss about his calculations

 

4). Vendetta (Noun) प्रतिशोध

Definition: a prolonged bitter quarrel with or campaign against someone

Synonyms:  eud, blood feud, quarrel, argument, falling-out, wrangle, clash, altercation, dispute, fight, war

Antonyms: agreement, harmony, great understanding

Usage: he has accused the British media of pursuing a vendetta against him

 

5). Acquit (Noun) अपराधमुक्त करना

Definition: free (someone) from a criminal charge by a verdict of not guilty.

Synonyms: absolve, clear, exonerate, exculpate

Antonyms: convict, accuse, blame, charge

Usage: she was acquitted on all counts

 

6). Abate (Verb) – रोक-थाम करना

Definition: (of something unpleasant or severe) become less intense or widespread

Synonyms: subside, die down/away/out, drop off/away, lessen, ease (off), let up, decrease, diminish, moderate, decline, fade, dwindle,

Antonyms: intensify, advance, extend, develop

Usage: the storm suddenly abated

 

7). Confrontation (Adjective) आमना – सामना

Definition:  a hostile or argumentative situation or meeting between opposing parties.

Synonyms:  conflict, clash, brush, fight, battle, contest, encounter, head-to-head, face-off, engagement, tangle, skirmish

Antonyms: agreement, calm, peace

Usage: a confrontation with the legislature

 

8). Provocation (Noun) – उकसावा

Definition: action or speech that makes someone angry, especially deliberately.

Synonyms: incitement, rousing, stirring, stimulation, prompting, inducement, encouragement, urging

Antonyms: compliment, happiness, discouragement, hindrance

Usage: you should remain calm and not respond to provocation

 

9). Rescind (Verb) – रद्द कर देना

Definition: revoke, cancel, or repeal (a law, order, or agreement).

Synonyms:revoke, repeal, cancel, reverse, abrogate, overturn, overrule, override, annul, nullify,

Antonyms: enforce, enact

Usage: the government eventually rescinded the directive

 

10). Coalesce (Verb) – संगठित होना

Definition: come together to form one mass or whole.

Synonyms:unite, jointogether, combine, merge, fuse, mingle, meld, blend, intermingle

Antonyms: divide, separate, detach, disconnect

Usage: the puddles had coalesced into shallow streams
